Accessibility Statement

Layered Grey LLC is committed to making layeredgrey.com accessible to as wide an audience as possible, including people with disabilities.

Our Target Standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities and more usable for all users.

Measures Taken

In building this site, we have taken the following steps to support accessibility:

  • Semantic HTML5 structure with appropriate landmark roles
  • Skip navigation link to bypass repeated elements
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background in both light and dark modes
  • Descriptive aria-label attributes on navigation and form elements
  • All images have appropriate alternative text or are marked as decorative
  • Form fields have associated visible labels
  • Dark mode is controlled by user preference via a clearly labeled toggle
  • The site is usable without JavaScript for content browsing (contact form requires JavaScript for submission)

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas we are working to improve:

  • The hCaptcha challenge used on the contact form may present challenges for some assistive technologies. If you encounter difficulty, please contact us directly by email.
  • The HubSpot live chat widget, if it activates, is provided by a third party and may not fully conform to our accessibility standard.

Third-Party Content

Parts of this site rely on third-party services (HubSpot, Google Fonts, Web3Forms). We do not control the accessibility of these services, but we select providers who publish their own accessibility commitments.
